Dear Journal ,

Alhamdulillah , interview Asasi TESL saya berjalan dengan lancar . It was hard at the beginning , with all the feelings that pressured me , kira okay lah . So let's begin the story :

The funny thing is my outfit . Tudung biru , baju kurung biru , bawak fail-2 biru . Memang biru semuanya . Cause my sister said that color is a professional color . I don't know , I don't have any experience , so I just follow her lead .

We started out journey at 11:30 am . My sister drove for almost  an hour . In the middle of our journey they were a lorry that burnt at the side of the road . Agak takut lah jugak . Half the body burnt . But then there were no lost . So we continue our journey until we reached Faculty of Education , Shah Alam . The building is like primary school type . Haha . The interview occur in the L and M block . I'm with Panel 2 last time I check . So my sister and I went to surau and solat zohor . After that we went to the old library cause I need to sit for the Writing Test first . The test started 2:00 pm . They let us in according to our Panel number . As mine was 2 so I got to get in early . I was sitting at the very first line ! So , as I watched another students walked in , I felt more afraid cause as I saw , their personalities shows that they are all confident and well prepared . Most of them were girls . I just spotted only one boy who sits in Panel 1 .

The test were divided into 2 sections . A was Reading Comprehension and B was writing 250 word essay . They gave us only 1 hour to answer both sections . I tell you , the section A test was very hard for me . The essay given was written in high level . I couldn't understand it properly . It took me so long to finished it . After that , I moved to the essay writing . The topic given was Benefits of Social Networking among students such as Facebook , Myspace , Friendster etc ..  Well , that sounds easy right ? Yeah . I faced a little problem to make the introduction but then , when I got the idea , my hands can't stop until I was surprised that I need extra answer sheet . Macam SPM pulak rasanya .

Then , after we finished the test we were ordered to move to our panels room to be interviewed . Okay , here it goes . As you all know , my speaking skills was .. Um , you know . Bad , worst . So as I walked to Panel 2 room , and searched my name , BAM ! It wasn't there ! I'm so sure that before I took writing test I found my name in Panel 2 . Panicked . Yup , that's the word . I knock on the door bravely and asked the two interviewers in there for my name . They ask me to search my name somewhere else . Where should I go . Owwwmaaannnnn ! As I walked and walked and I searched my name in Panel 3 , Nope , not there .. Until I reached Panel 4 , and there it is . SITI NURAINI BINTI AHMAD KAMAL - NUMBER 6 . Fuhh , what a relieve . But then I remembered , when I took my writing test , I wrote on it that I was with Panel 2 . I didn't know about they were changing the name lists . URGH , another damn problem . I called my sister and she asked me to be chilled . Fine . Then I saw one of the interviewers in Panel 2 came out and went into Panel 6 room . Okay , she sent my test paper . Fuhhh again , Alhamdulillah . Asd i wait and wait , one by one went inside . Then the sixth bell rings .... My turn .


Alhamdulillah , it all went very well . My interview duration only 6-7 minutes . Quiet short huh ? Haha , but I missed one question to be answered . " What do you think of English level in Malaysia? " And what I answered is " I have no idea " . WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT ? They laughed at me . But still , I answered it without any doubts but confident . The rest of the questions were about my family , my siblings . Just that . Simple .

The conclusion is , what matters is that you need to be confidence in yourself and behave . Act like professionals. Ask questions . They'll love it when you ask them more cause it shows that you are not afraid . Wear outfits that suits for an interview . For girls , better wear Baju Kurung . If you're a free hair then , buat sanggul di kepala . Jangan lepas rambut terburai . Your first impression is IMPORTANT . Smile to everyone . Be friendly . Heads up tapi jangan sombong . Paling penting , doa dan zikir :) Then insyaAllah , semua kan berjalan lancar .


It doesn't matter bila kita tak menjawab soalan yang diberi dgn betul dan tepat . Yang penting confident .
